Achieve Healing and Growth through Understanding and Self-Compassion
My goal as a therapist is to offer personalized, evidence-based care that helps you heal from the past and create meaningful change. Trauma, anxiety, and painful childhood experiences rarely resolve with quick fixes—but you don’t have to face them alone.
Through compassionate, individualized therapy and EMDR treatment, I help you uncover the patterns that hold you back and guide you as you create healthier, more adaptive responses. I also offer talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and support practical strategies for everyday challenges.
My focus is to help you gain clarity, improve your emotional well-being, and reconnect with the resilience you already carry within you.
I provide secure online therapy, EMDR, CBT, and talk therapy throughout Florida, Illinois, and Washington. With flexible telehealth sessions, you can access trauma-informed care from the comfort of your home. Whether you’re seeking online EMDR therapy, CBT for anxiety, trauma treatment, or virtual counseling, you’ll receive high-quality care designed to support deep and lasting healing.
If you’re ready for meaningful change, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to focus briefly on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.
Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes, showing EMDR as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences.
A typical therapy session is 50 minutes. EMDR may be used within a standard talking therapy, as an adjunctive therapy with a separate therapist, or as a treatment all by itself.
I offer EMDR virtually for clients throughout Florida, Illinois and Washington
“Inviting our thoughts and feelings into awareness allows us to learn from them rather than be driven by them.”
~ Daniel J. Siegel, MD
What Can I Expect from EMDR Trauma Therapy?
How EMDR therapy helps you heal from trauma

“The past affects the present even without our being aware of it.”
~ Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy does not require talking in detail about distressing issues or completing homework between sessions.
Our brains have a natural way to recover from traumatic memories and events. Rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, EMDR allows the brain to resume its natural healing process.
EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. For many clients, therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies.
After we agree that EMDR therapy is a good fit, we will work through the eight phases of EMDR therapy together.

I pride myself on being more than just someone to listen, but someone to help you look at things a different way.
As a professional therapist, I guide you as you take meaningful steps toward healing, positive change, and a healthier mind. Together, we explore the challenges and daily stressors that pull you away from your goals. From there, we identify practical strategies you can begin using right away to strengthen your emotional well-being.
I see every client as more than a name or an appointment. Therapy is a deeply personal experience, and I honor that with compassion, respect, and zero judgment. My role is not only to support and encourage you, but to equip you with tools and resources that create real, lasting change in your life.
