From Insight to Resolution

EMDR therapy for attachment trauma and past experiences that continue to shape the present.

Online EMDR Therapy for Adults

Heal What’s Been Holding You Back,

So the Past No longer Shapes How You Feel, React, or Relate.

I help adults heal from past experiences that continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and self-perception. When trauma and anxiety remain unresolved, they can quietly influence how you respond to stress, conflict, and connection.

My work focuses on EMDR therapy for adults who are ready to address the roots of long-standing patterns rather than simply manage symptoms.

Through individualized therapy and EMDR, we work at the source of what keeps you stuck. As memories are processed, many clients notice something meaningful: the memory no longer carries the same emotional charge, and they are no longer reacting in the same way.

Secure online EMDR therapy in Florida, Illinois, and Washington is available. Care is trauma-informed, personalized, and paced to support deep, lasting change.

If you’re ready to move forward with greater clarity and choice, I’m here to guide the process.

What is EMDR Therapy?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-researched psychotherapy approach that can help distressing past experiences become less emotionally charged and less influential in the present.

EMDR is a structured form of therapy. Rather than requiring you to repeatedly talk through every detail of a difficult experience, you briefly bring aspects of the memory to mind while engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements.

As processing occurs, the memory may become less vivid or emotionally activating. What happened is not erased or forgotten; instead, it can begin to feel more firmly located in the past rather than continuing to shape the present.

Ongoing research has established a strong evidence base for EMDR, particularly in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress.

EMDR can be the primary focus of therapy or integrated with talk therapy, depending on your needs and the work we are doing together.

How EMDR Therapy Helps You Heal from Trauma

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy does not require detailed discussions of distressing experiences or homework between sessions. Many clients find this approach less overwhelming than traditional talk therapy.

EMDR works with the way distressing memories are stored and can help reduce their emotional intensity. Rather than focusing primarily on changing thoughts or behaviors, the work addresses experiences that continue to shape present-day reactions.

EMDR can go beyond insight by helping the past feel more firmly located in the past. For some clients, meaningful change can occur in fewer sessions than with other forms of therapy.

If EMDR is a good fit, we will move through the eight phases of treatment together at a pace that feels safe, collaborative, and supportive.

I help you move beyond insight by resolving the past experiences that still shape your present

Over the years, I began noticing something that challenged many of the assumptions I had made about healing. People often arrived at remarkable insight. They understood why they struggled. Yet understanding alone wasn’t creating the lasting change they longed for.

My work with EMDR gradually reshaped the way I think about healing. I came to see that insight and emotional resolution are not the same thing. As unresolved experiences are processed, people often become freer—not because they have forgotten the past, but because it no longer organizes their present.

This is why my practice is devoted to helping adults move beyond insight by resolving the unresolved experiences that continue to shape how they feel, react, and relate.
