Heal What’s Been Holding You Back
I help adults heal from past experiences that continue to shape emotions, relationships, and self-perception.
When trauma and anxiety remain unresolved, they can quietly interfere with growth and fulfillment.
Through compassionate, individualized therapy and EMDR treatment, we work at the source of what keeps you stuck.
As these experiences are processed, many clients gain clarity, emotional freedom, and renewed confidence.
I provide secure online EMDR and talk therapy throughout Florida, Illinois, and Washington.
Care is trauma-informed, personalized, and designed to support deep, lasting healing.
If you’re ready to move forward, I’m here to guide the process.
What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched, effective
psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy that helps the brain process traumatic memories. While briefly focusing on a past experience, you engage in bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements. This process can reduce the emotional intensity and vividness of distressing memories.
Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes, showing EMDR as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences.
A typical therapy session is 50 minutes. EMDR may be used within a standard talking therapy, as an adjunctive therapy with a separate therapist, or as a treatment all by itself.
I offer EMDR virtually for clients throughout Florida, Illinois and Washington
“Inviting our thoughts and feelings into awareness allows us to learn from them rather than be driven by them.”
Daniel J. Siegel, MD
How EMDR Therapy Helps You Heal from Trauma

“The past affects the present even without our being aware of it.”
~ Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy does not require detailed discussions of distressing experiences or homework between sessions.
Many clients find this approach less overwhelming than traditional talk therapy.
The brain has a natural ability to heal from traumatic experiences.
EMDR works by helping the brain resume this natural healing process.
Rather than focusing on changing thoughts or behaviors, EMDR addresses unresolved memories at their source.
EMDR therapy is designed to process unhealed traumatic memories.
For some clients, this means progress can occur in fewer sessions than other forms of therapy.
If EMDR is a good fit, we will move through the eight phases of EMDR therapy together at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

I help you move beyond insight by resolving the past experiences that still shape your present
EMDR Therapy for Healing and Growth
As a professional therapist, I help you identify and work through past experiences that continue to block your goals and sense of well-being.
These unresolved experiences often shape present-day reactions, patterns, and emotional responses.
Together, we focus on healing what remains unprocessed so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
EMDR therapy supports the brain’s natural ability to heal.
Rather than managing symptoms, we address the root causes that keep you feeling stuck.
As those blocks resolve, many clients experience greater emotional freedom, insight, and personal growth.
I view every client as a whole person with innate potential.
Therapy is a collaborative and deeply personal process.
My role is to create a safe, respectful space where healing can occur, and meaningful change can emerge naturally.
