Achieve Healing and Growth through Understanding and Self-Compassion
My goal as a therapist is to provide personalized, evidence-based support that helps you heal from the past and create meaningful change in your life. Trauma, anxiety, and painful childhood experiences don’t resolve with quick fixes—but you don’t have to face them alone.
Through compassionate, individualized therapy and EMDR treatment, I help you identify what’s been holding you back and work with you to transform the patterns that create distress. Alongside EMDR, I also offer talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and support practical strategies for daily challenges.
I focus on helping you gain clarity, improve your emotional well-being, and reconnect with the resilience and potential already within you.
I provide secure online therapy, EMDR, CBT, and talk therapy throughout Florida, Illinois and Washington, making it easy to access trauma-informed care from the comfort of your home. Whether you’re searching for online EMDR therapy, CBT for anxiety, trauma therapy, or virtual counseling, you’ll receive high-quality care designed to support deep healing and lasting transformation.
If you’re ready for meaningful change and long-term healing, I’m here to guide you through every step.
What is EMDR Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms.
EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to focus briefly on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.
Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes, showing EMDR as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences.
A typical therapy session is 50 minutes. EMDR may be used within a standard talking therapy, as an adjunctive therapy with a separate therapist, or as a treatment all by itself.
I offer EMDR virtually for clients throughout Florida, Illinois and Washington
“Inviting our thoughts and feelings into awareness allows us to learn from them rather than be driven by them.”
~ Daniel J. Siegel, MD
What Can I Expect from EMDR Therapy?
I offer individual online EMDR Therapy to Adults in Florida, Illinois, and Washington

“The past affects the present even without our being aware of it.”
~ Francine Shapiro, Founder of EMDR
EMDR therapy does not require talking in detail about distressing issues or completing homework between sessions.
Our brains have a natural way to recover from traumatic memories and events. Rather than focusing on changing the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from the distressing issue, EMDR allows the brain to resume its natural healing process.
EMDR therapy is designed to resolve unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. For many clients, EMDR therapy can be completed in fewer sessions than other psychotherapies.
After we agree that EMDR therapy is a good fit, we will work through the eight phases of EMDR therapy together.

I pride myself on being more than just someone to listen, but someone to help you look at things a different way.
As a professional therapist, my role is to guide you as you take steps towards positive life changes, healing, and a healthy mind. Together we’ll work to uncover and better understand life’s challenges and day-to-day stressors that detract from your life and focus, and begin identifying and practicing things that will make you stronger.
I consider all my patients to be more than just another name, or an appointment. Therapy is meant to be a completely individual experience, and I treat it as such, with deep compassion and absolutely no judgment. Not only do I want to provide support and encouragement for each of my clients, but it’s my goal to offer them practical resources that they can put into practice immediately in their lives.
